“Positivity thinking breads success” Urijah Faber.
When I decided the topic for my first blog (at the end of 2020) I genuinely thought we would all return to work as “normal” in the New Year.
I was excited about formally launching BeA, meeting with clients and candidates and growing the business. I contemplated another blog subject until I read a very moving LinkedIn post this morning.
A Marketing Executive who despite losing his wife to breast cancer and his job to Covid (both in 2020) had the positivity and strength of character to start a new business in early 2021. If he, despite all the challenges he now faces has the confidence to approach a new business surely all of us embarking on a new venture should take this lead.
Yes, the market may be a little different than I hoped, and I am sitting in my home office for the foreseeable, but fundamentally nothing else has changed – I am still me – I still believe in BeAssured and have the passion, positivity, and confidence to drive it forward to success.
I think back to an early business meeting, after setting on the name BeAssured we quickly agreed our key values – it was not that hard as they honestly mean everything – Be Reliable, Be Progressive, Be Passionate. I am positive I can deliver on them.
